The local organizing committee will assess abstracts based on originality, novelty and scientific merit. Only novel projects, new data or new proposals will be considered for live presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please DO NOT present reviews or educational-only material. Reviews or educational-only material will be included only by invitation and only from ISLANDS faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The top scoring abstracts will be selected for short (<=10 minutes) presentations during the Saturday scientific congress program. All accepted abstracts will be included in the course website for viewing by course participants only. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you plan to present, please prepare and submit a presentation (Powerpoint or keynote, or movie) of up to five slides only. Lectures longer than 10 min will be truncated at 10 minutes. These presentations will be uploaded to a protected space and presented from a local computer. If selected for live presentation, you must submit you presentation beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The use of own computers for presentations is not possible. You must submit your presentation ahead of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please register first, using the above form.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Submissions are only for new data or ideas. Background or teaching will not be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Abstract submitters must be registered (i.e. separately from abstract submission). Abstracts without registrations will not be considered. Abstract submitters must attend in person.<\/strong> Remote presentations are not possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Submitted abstracts and must be text only (no images, no tables). <\/p>\n\n\n\n Submitted abstract must have the following structure: Title I First and presenting author (with affiliation) I Further authors I Methods I Results I Conclusion\/Discussion<\/p>\n\n\n\n Abstracts are reviewed by the local organizing committee and assigned to live presentation or pre-recorded video (10 minutes max.), based on scientific merit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Live presentations may be a maximum of 10 min each, followed by 5 min discussion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Please note that you have to be registered for a submission to be assessed.
