Participation fees

  • Saturday Congress and Friday pre-congress course Euro 250 p.p. (in person only, includes Froday course and Saturday congress) I For midwives and Midwifery trainees only: pre-congress Friday only: Euro 50 p.p. (please email Prof. Henrich’s secretary)
  • Congress Dinner (included in full registration), open only for congress attendees and accompanying persons

The Saturday congress MUST NOT contain any overview or how-to lectures. 

ONLY unpublished data or presentation of recently published studies (publications during the 24 months preceding the congress) or study proposals will be considered. 

We are looking forward to your submissions! Each abstract will be assessed by the organizing committee and may be selected for live presentation. More than one submissions per person are possible, but the preferred topic should be indicated. Additional lectures are possible if the program permits and may be requested as videos.

For ISLANDS Faculty only: Mini-lectures: = overview lectures of no more than 5 min duration are requested from ISLANDS Faculty (ISLANDS Founders an previous congress hoets) for the mini-lectures for the Friday course. Additional or longer lectures (overview, historical or others) may be sent in beforehand as video recording (video length: unlimited) for display by registered course participants via the course website.

Live lectures must be presented in person and in Berlin.

Note: Pre-recorded mini-lectures by ISLANDS founders, max. 5 min each, (total 1 hr), MUST be submitted electronically to the organizing committee by 30 April 2026. A video containing all these lectures will be available to course participants.

    ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

    Abstract submission can only be done if the presenting author is also registered. Not registered yer? Please register first, using the above form.

    Submissions are only for new data or ideas. Background or teaching will not be considered.

    Abstract submitters must be registered (i.e. separately from abstract submission). Abstracts without registrations will not be considered. Abstract submitters must attend in person. Remote presentations are not possible.

    Submitted abstracts and must be text only (no images, no tables).

    Submitted abstract must have the following structure: Title I First and presenting author (with affiliation) I Further authors I Methods I Results I Conclusion/Discussion

    Abstracts are reviewed by the local organizing committee and assigned to live presentation or pre-recorded video (10 minutes max.), based on scientific merit.

    Live presentations may be a maximum of 10 min each, followed by 5 min discussion.
